The structure of the Gara 3000 LD is identical to the greatly-appreciated Gara 3000, but the material of the blade, which is softer, is what makes them stand out.The LD in the 3000 LD stands for Long Distance, indicating the main use of the product, and these fins have emerged from the need to offer enthusiasts increasingly powerful fins, which are however less demanding than the Gara 3000 fins.

Product Features

  • Less muscle effort is required for kicking so divers can use them for longer, making them perfect to use many hours in a row.
  • The softer blade is also very suitable for use in cold water, which is notorious for its tendency to stiffen materials and make them less flexible.

Great fins, great price These were my first true freediving fins I have bought. I have been spearfishing for years but have never bought my own pair of long blade fins. I have used them before but seeing I owned my own scuba fins I never purchased a pair because of the price. But given the price of these fins and the quality they are so worth it. The blades are a little softer than other fins and work great in colder water.

Amazing fins I swim 1 mile per day in a 25 meter pool (72 lengths) and wanted to up my work out. These are great, they push you to a whole new level. Fast is an understatement, literally cut my lap times in half. If you use these hard get ready for a work out but WOW what a blast. Just love these, they are awesome. You will literally feel like you are flying across the pool, while feeling the burn, super fun. My wife wants a pair now too, we are going to get scuba diving certified soon, so this is real fun practice. Can not say how great these fins are. Now you should note that I am 5′ 11″ and these fins go from floor to my waist so that are not small. You way get some looks but once people see you rocket across the pool they are all interested in them.

Good Value The package arrived quickly, and undamaged. After a lengthy research process, the price point for the bag and for the fins representated a good value in my opinion. My only complaint is that the “backpack” in the picture was not the same as the one delivered. The “backpack” I received does not have a front pouch for the diving mask as well as a less robust and an un-adjustable strap. This was not a deal breaker since the “backpack” I received will work well for the limited amount of time I will be hauling around the fins. I am somewhat irritated by the misrepresentation, only somewhat since there were no specifics in the description and I assumed the picture was an exact depiction of what I was going to receive. Outside this minor detail I am content with my purchase since the fins are exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price for this model.
